Executive Director | Stephanie Evans
As executive director-founder, Stephanie leads the day-to-day duties for Harvest Resources. Stephanie has a passion to help people where they are. She lives with a passion for county resources and enjoys connecting others to those resources to help them succeed. Working closely with her fellow board members to diligently train volunteers, write grants, and meet with community and county workers. She and her husband, four daughters, and eight grandkids love to spend weekends at their “happy place” near the beach in Fenwick, Delaware.
President | Woody Cowan
Woody serves on the board as President. He is a retired Federal employee with 37 years of service. He also serves in other capacities such as picking up food from many of Harvest’s partner resources. His interests include working in the yard and spending time with his great-grandchildren.
Vice President | Gene Taafe
Gene serves on the board as Vice President. He has also been a member of Arundel Christian Church for several years. Throughout that time, he has served in any capacity needed. He enjoys being retired and watching any televised sports. He is passionate about what Harvest is doing for all of those they serve!
Secretary | Melissa Grinder
Melissa serves on the board as Secretary. She has worked in the medical field for over 25 years. She received a BA degree in psychology and criminal justice. She has been a volunteer leader of several projects working directly with the Executive Director, Stephanie Evans, for eight years. Melissa has a passion for helping people.
Treasurer | Mike Gallina
Mike serves on the board as Treasurer. He was a bank accountant for over 40 years. Now in semi-retirement, he has served as Treasurer for three Christian-based non-profit organizations for the last several years. His desire is to be involved with organizations that show God’s love through serving His people in need. He is active in serving at fundraising events and assisting with the hands-on ministry of these organizations. In his spare time, he enjoys football and the outdoors.
